2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or enrolling in any program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the Service or enrol in a program.
You must be at least 18 years of age to enrol. By proceeding, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are acting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
We encourage you to read these terms at your own pace before making any commitment. There is no pressure to proceed until you are comfortable doing so.
3. Service Description
Chalat provides online AI development education through structured programs delivered digitally. Our current programs are:
- AI Foundations Program — An introductory program covering programming essentials and fundamental machine learning concepts through small, manageable projects. Price: ฿3,600.
- Machine Learning in Practice — An intermediate program focused on building and evaluating models using real data, with mentor support throughout. Price: ฿5,600.
- Professional AI Track — A comprehensive program covering development, evaluation, and deployment practices, concluding with a guided capstone project. Price: ฿7,800.
Programs are delivered in English. Access to program materials is provided via our online platform following confirmed enrolment and receipt of payment. We aim to make programs available to learners in all locations, though we do not make specific representations regarding availability in every jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to update or modify program content to keep it current and accurate. Any significant changes will be communicated to enrolled learners in advance.
4. User Accounts
Access to program materials requires a learner account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You should notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation. We will work with you to address the situation sensibly.
Program access is for your personal use only. Sharing account credentials with others is not permitted. Each enrolment covers one individual learner.
We may suspend or close an account if we have reasonable grounds to believe the account is being misused or if these terms are not being followed, after giving notice where reasonably practicable.
5. User Responsibilities
When using the Service, you agree to:
- Use the Service and program materials for lawful personal learning purposes only.
- Treat other learners, mentors, and staff with courtesy and respect in any shared or communication spaces.
- Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others.
- Not copy, distribute, publish, or sell program materials beyond what is reasonably needed for your own study.
- Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or to another user's account.
- Not use the Service in any way that could harm the platform, other users, or third parties.
- Not misrepresent your identity or your connection to Chalat.
- Maintain academic integrity — your submitted work should be your own.
We aim to maintain a calm and respectful learning environment and appreciate your cooperation in supporting that.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, branding, and design elements forming part of the Service and our programs are the intellectual property of Chalat or our content partners, and are protected under applicable Thai and international copyright law.
Upon enrolment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use program materials for your personal study during your enrolment period. This licence does not permit you to:
- Reproduce, republish, or distribute materials beyond personal study use.
- Create derivative works based on our materials for commercial purposes.
- Remove or obscure any copyright notices or attribution contained in materials.
Any original work you produce as part of program exercises or projects remains your own. By submitting work through the platform, you grant Chalat a limited licence to review and provide feedback on that work for educational purposes.
7. Payment & Refunds
Program prices are listed in Thai Baht (฿) and are subject to change. The price applicable to your enrolment is the price displayed at the time of your enrolment confirmation.
Payment is required in full prior to program access being granted. We accept payment through the methods displayed on the enrolment page. Payment details are processed securely; we do not store card details on our systems.
Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances change, and we want the process to be as fair and straightforward as possible:
- Within 7 days of enrolment, before accessing any materials: A full refund will be provided on request.
- Within 14 days of enrolment, after partial access: A pro-rated refund reflecting unused portions may be considered at our discretion.
- After 14 days: Refunds are not ordinarily available, though we are willing to discuss exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
To request a refund, please contact us at [email protected] with your enrolment details. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
8. Enrolment & Course Terms
Enrolment in a program grants you access to the relevant materials for the duration specified at enrolment. We will communicate access periods clearly before you commit.
Programs are self-paced within any stated access period. We encourage learners to proceed at a comfortable pace rather than under pressure. Materials remain accessible for review throughout your enrolment.
Mentor support, where included, is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis during the stated support period. Response times are typically within two business days.
Completion of a program may result in a certificate of completion. Certificates reflect that the learner has worked through the program; they do not represent a qualification under any Thai regulatory framework.
Academic integrity is important to us. Work submitted for review should be your own. Where we become aware that submitted work has been copied or falsified, we reserve the right to withdraw completion recognition.
9. Disclaimers
The Service and all program materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Chalat makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not make representations that program content will meet every learner's specific objectives, or that completing a program will lead to any particular career or professional outcome. Individual results depend on many factors including a learner's prior knowledge, effort, and circumstances.
Program materials reflect the knowledge and practices available at the time of their creation. The field of AI develops quickly; we aim to keep materials current but cannot warrant their absolute completeness at all times.
Nothing in our materials constitutes professional advice — legal, financial, technical, or otherwise — and should not be relied upon as such.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Thai law, Chalat and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service or program materials.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific program giving rise to the claim.
These limitations apply regardless of the form of action and whether or not Chalat has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability; in such cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
We are not liable for service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including power failures, internet outages, or other force majeure events. We will make reasonable efforts to restore service promptly in such situations.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chalat and its directors, employees, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service in a manner that violates these Terms.
- Your infringement of any third party's intellectual property or other rights.
- Any content or materials you submit through the platform that causes harm to a third party.
12. Termination
You may discontinue your use of the Service at any time. Refund eligibility following discontinuation is governed by the refund policy in Section 7.
Chalat reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms in a material way. Where the breach is capable of being remedied, we will ordinarily give reasonable notice and an opportunity to address the issue before taking action.
On termination, your right to access program materials ceases. Sections of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution — will continue to apply.
13. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
Before initiating any formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] to describe the concern. We are committed to addressing issues fairly and promptly through informal discussion wherever possible. Most matters can be resolved this way without the need for formal action.
If informal resolution is not reached within 30 days of written notification, either party may pursue resolution through the appropriate Thai court of competent jurisdiction.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any program-specific information provided at enrolment, constitute the entire agreement between you and Chalat regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, with the remainder of the Terms continuing in full force.
- Waiver: Failure by Chalat to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of future enforcement of that right or provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.
- Notices: Notices to Chalat should be sent to [email protected] or by post to our registered address. Notices to you will be sent to the email address associated with your account.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our programs, operations, or legal obligations. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
For material changes that affect enrolled learners, we will provide notice by email to the address associated with your account, with reasonable advance notice before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you are welcome to contact us to discuss your situation before the new terms take effect.
